Having been brought up with an aunt who was a professional dressmaker I have always had an interest in textiles and been able to knit and sew as a hobby While working in childcare. However, when my granddaughter and a family friend were born, I found myself knitting to keep dolls and teddies warm allowing for a certain amount of adaption due to one of them having special needs. This has seen such creations as a full school uniform various coats and story sacks.
As time is moved on, I have taken more of an interest in the design aspects and branched off into other projects such as reading cushions and now look to share and sell my creations with everyone. Using my professional knowledge that things for little hands need to meet the appropriate health and safety requirements I have also taken time to research and develop my designs to meet these standards.
